ughhhh because it’s not that I’m embarrassed it’s just people (like you) who have not been in that place or ever self harmed don’t understand the feeling behind it and they just don’t really get it and because of that it’s weird and scary for them so they make dumb comments because they are uncomfortable.

honestly i don’t think they are that visible, i didn’t even realize they were until you pointed it out, and i still don’t really see them. I mean i’m not really embarrassed about them
